John Galliano Spring 2012. I appreciated his inspiration and the direction Bill Gayten took, it’s still under the Galliano DNA through and through.
Genius at Christian Dior F/W 2011. Galliano’s talent is really undeniable, this season was no exception. This might signal his swan song as a designer unless he comes out of this scandal alive.
With regard to the clothes, I love the high drama while still keeping wearability in check. I personally think the use of fur is excessive but you should see the movement in these clothes, amazing. Strongest collection I’ve seen so far from Paris. We’ll see if anything tops this.
