New designers Pedro Lourenço (of namesake label) and Olivier Rousteing (successor to Balmain). Is it just me or are they beyond good looking?!
In the same vein of Tom Ford, Riccardo Tisci of Givenchy and okay… maybe Marc Jacobs, designers just as beautiful as their clothes could be the next It thing.
Balmain Spring 2012. New designer Olivier Rousteing did a well enough job keeping up with the revitalized brand DNA Christophe Decarnin brought to the table. Nothing earth-shattering but nice things you can expect from the House.

Relaxed luxe at Balmain Spring 2012. Christophe Decarnin’s successor isn’t exactly veering away from the house’s aesthetic, but he isn’t exactly living up to the high-voltage fashion of the label. Granted, this is menswear but if you’re going for anything, might as well go all the way.
Love the color of this tuxedo though, serving up some mint green realness.
Check out these Chanel-esque Balmain jackets from Suzanne Rogers’ closet. I DIE. Balmain is reputed to be one of the most expensive brands out there, I think a single Balmain jacket is times 3 of that of a Chanel. I could be wrong though. SO COOL.

Balmain staying true to self at Balmain F/W 2011. I’ve always liked the punchiness of their clothes, statement jackets, embellished to death type of clothes. Crazy how so much of it influences my own aesthetic.
