More from the NY Times. I don’t even know this girl (a certain Holly Madison) but this series is always fun.

Voldemort: Let me tell you something about Dumbledore. We were best friends in middle school. I know, right? It's so embarrassing. I don't even... Whatever. So then in eighth grade, I started going out with my first girlfriend Bellatrix who was totally gorgeous but then she moved to Indiana, and Dumbledore was like, weirdly jealous of her. Like, if I would blow him off to hang out with Bellatrix, he'd be like, "Why didn't you call me back?" And I'd be like, "Why are you so obsessed with me?" So then, for my birthday party, which was an all-boys pool party, I was like, "Dumbledore, I can't invite you, because I think you're a homo." I mean I couldn't have a homo at my party. There were gonna be boys there in their bathing suits. I mean, right? He was a HOMO. So then his mom called my mom and started yelling at her, it was so retarded. And then he dropped out of school because no one would talk to him, and he came back in the fall for high school, all of his hair was cut off and he was totally weird, and now I guess he's on crack.

Reading some stuff on my GoogleReader and a bunch of NY times articles popped up, I’m not even partial to Kim Kardashian but I really liked the tone and the language of this article. It’s treading the line between don’t-take-me-so-seriously and documentary-style writing. I don’t know, I want to learn how to do this.

I really wanted to make a collage based on these deconstructed trousers and it took me three full tries to get it just right. Basically I was inspired by the base picture, the blues and whites. I got the idea to use brush strokes from the color and I imagined the story, pretty neat. The same exact pants for both guys, I just flit around with them on photoshop and tada.

Picks from Alessandro Sartori’s collection for Z Zegna. Top hats always get me for some reason, I’m not sure if it’s the whole pulling a rabbit out of a hat magic or the sheer dandy-ness of it all. I almost got one commissioned one time just for kicks. For me these pieces take the whole dandy feel to the present day, fantasy meets street kind of thing. I’d hit it, sho’ nuff.

Paint spots. City of Lost Boys. Shred-Shirts.

Still some collections to go from the Spring 2010 shows for men, isn’t it exciting? First encounter with designer Miharayasuhiro and his designs are amazing. I only read that he took inspiration from the Little Prince but the first sense I got was really City of Lost Boys (think the Banquine act in Cirque du Soleil’s Quidam), with their king and his noble court at the end of the show. At any rate, similar color stories (teal, gray to blue-gray) across a lot of collections. Will do look into this whole white paint splotches on pants thing, very cute.

Origami/Samurai/Bondage

First ever inspiration board I’ve ever done, a few months back. Key pieces would be the hakama pants, the criss-cross straps and the obi-belts. Few stray pieces here and there I only noticed now but I guess I’ll have to work on that. This board has yet to be realized in my current wardrobe but we shall see. A ver, hasta luego!
